Well my doomsday did not come, at least for the moment...the thing abt ns is to not think positive, that way when something bad happens, it will be like 'ah expected', then when a good thing happens, I will feel more like 'finally a bonus'. Of course, when you think negative, it's good to keep in check the amount of random thoughts for depression could befall if you're not careful enough.. there's always tomorrow too, I don't believe things will be so easily over and done with.

Last sat went out to eat fish head curry and after that celebrated 中秋节 by playing with lantern n candles. Although I feel that I have outgrown all these activities, sometimes I have the urge to do all that again, as if the child in me refuses to give up.

It's 中秋节 tonight too... but the moon didnt look so bright and circular compared to other days.. that could be due to me seeing it at 7+, don't have a better view to see it tonight though, bleh

Yesterday saw a nice sunset by luck... I have actually forgotten of the beautiful sunsets that are quite common around my camp. Ah don't have any pictures though.. maybe I should stay in more often and so have a higher chance of viewing another one and maybe take a few pictures. Seriously though, I realised that I don't feel like staying in, especially with me slacking more and more since my ord is coming nearer (5 mths+ more only). 说长又不长，说短又不短...


Watched the jp movie "Train Man" ytd too, is a nice romantic movie. The female lead looks not bad, although from what few screenshots I have seen the female lead in the drama looks more chio. Could be wrong though.. have to see... Tempted to watch the drama after that (13 epi) to see the differences. Only heard of it not long ago cos I saw the bk in kino last wed and asked wk n js abt it. Despite what they said abt the bk version hard to read (it being a compliation of the posts made on the msg board), I think I will be able to view them coherently as I have already seen some parts of a translation of the original posts ( thx to wikipedia for the link), assuming the format is about the same for the book lar. Also, it would make a good comparison between the net and the book versions. I would recommend watching this movie, but partly because I feel I am a sucker for this type of movie.

Today went for 1st prac lesson(sch), some hours b4 the lesson in camp I was very nervous(haha, could be due to fear too), reading the green colour practical bk i realised tat I got a lot of things that I dunno, stressing me. However, by the time work ended I was in a mind blank state (in a good way) where my thoughts suddenly become clear and I have no fear, no doubts at all, however much I may have before. Even if I am not sure, I feel my instincts will be enough to bring me through. The last time I felt that way was last month during my basic theory test...

The only problem was that I felt that way too early (2hrs b4 the lesson!) and I was quite tense again by the time the lesson started. Even the instructor said so... he deliberately went to the toilet to let me calm down a bit, although at tat time I was thinking of my $ flying off with each passing minute he spent in there. My turning is also not very gd and my starting off is very slow, although 1st lesson nia, shld have improvement through later lessons. He wanted me to buy gloves at first too -.-, cos of my sweaty palms but after tat he say dun need, like minor case.

I just need to get more time for more practicals.. also do the final theory test... busy week coming up... doomsday coming on thu or fri too.. hopefully can be delayed til next week though. Back to playing wow too...

其实我不知这个答案给了她什么样的看法，因为我原本就不清楚自己的感觉是什么；要笑为她打气；还是要哭可能以后就这样失去了个朋友。想以沉默来回应，就是不说的话反而会令人想什么奇怪的想法。哈哈或许我想太多了。

Monday went for ty's farewell dinner at pizzahut before she go Taiwan
Tuesday and Wednesday got leave, didnt rest as much as I wanted though.. ty also went Taiwan on wed, went to see her off. Thu n Fri have nth much..normal days
Today went for bmc platoon mate's church anniversary event.. I dunno why I went actually since I am non-christian, event itself is not bad though (minus the preaching, have no comment abt it)

Finished reading Mitch Albom's latest book "For one more day". I feel that it appeals to me more emotionally than his last book "The five people you meet in heaven", possibly because it's about a man having a chance of meeting his dead mother for a day and I can draw parallels from parts of the story to my own life and relationship with my family. Granted, it's better than the one described in the story, but I think it can be improved further. The only question is what can I do to do that even with this knowledge...where I don't have the answer myself atm. It's not a must read book to me actually, only a definite read book imo.

On a side note, went to comex last sat with gs and js. gs bought a speaker ($79) while js bought a microsd card + reader ($42). On that day, I noticed that there were not that many people walking around the convention halls unlike the previous pc shows etc this year (except for some parts where there were heavy jams). With the ST article stating that more people went comex this year, I guess it's due to the 4 day duration where people have the chance to go on thu and fri. I myself went on fri n sat(not sure how gs persuaded me), bought an external hard disk. Saw 933 djs peifen and zhiyong there too; they were promoting cameras, lol 1st time see them in real life.

Participated a parade last fri, one of the worst I had been to since I had to stand for almost an hr while listening to speeches. It's very hard to do that when the sun is beating down on your heads and suddenly your face or hair would feel quite itchy, causing an endurance test. Also, my shoes are not made to repel heat, causing them to start to heat up after a while and barbecuing my toes ... I took to wiggling my toes as much as possible and rock a bit forwards and backwards like a '不倒翁' to pass the time. Heaved a sigh of relief when it ended.

Went to watch Huda at her taekwondo competition on sun 2 weeks ago (26 aug). Decided to go since I have not seen one before and well, they were quite violent, especially with some of the male category matches where the competitiors looked more like they were brawling than actually sparring. It's quite interesting too, with them using different tactics to hit the padding vest that each competitor wears.

For some reason, I have being seeing friends whom I recognised for almost the whole of last week. If it's luck, I must be very lucky(saw them 5 days out of 7), but I still don't win the lottery or anything else even after that..
